Have at you!

Just imagine my surprise when I tried a bit of Philosophy’s the Supernatural foundation primer yesterday and seriously considered getting myself a tube!

Philosophy - the Supernatural
The little tube contains a tinted primer which acts as a bit of sunscreen (SPF15) and claims to even out your skin tone and smooths fine lines and wrinkles.   I guess apart from these, the thing I liked about the Supernatural was the fact that when I rubbed it on my skin, it only felt sticky during the first few circular motions.  After that, it blended so well and felt so light that I could not keep myself from smiling!

The only drawback?  A small 1.6 ounce tube costs almost Php2,000.  Ouch.  I’ve asked my Best Friend to check it out when she flies to Hong Kong in a couple of days and hopefully, when it’s a lot cheaper there, I can ask her or my Dad to get me a a tube or two.  My Dad’s almost always there anyway! :)

{December 25, 2008}   Happy Holidays!

With Christmas Day here again, we’re all aware that the year 2008 is coming to a close soon.  For most of us, 2008 hasn’t exactly been the best year and for some, even the year 2009 doesn’t look very promising.   Despite these, I hope that you receive the gifts you wanted from Santa and get to enjoy spending the holidays with your closest friends and family.

Let’s all look forward to a more adventurous year ahead.  HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! :)

I took this photo back in 2007 when I was still at Xiamen, China taking up a short course.  This is just one small part of the beach, which is located right across the university I went to.

{December 20, 2008}   A treasure found!

Upon dropping by a CD store this morning, my brother showed me something that really made my entire day: Westlife’s latest concert in DVD!  10 Years of Westlife: Live at Croke Park Stadium featured the concert the boys had last June 2008 to celebrate their 10 wonderful years in the industry.  They performed 23 songs, including a medley of Sexyback/Blame It On The Boogie. The DVD also has a documentary and 10 music videos that their fans voted as the top 10 in Westlife’s career.

Without even giving it any further thought, we bought the DVD and almost immediately upon reaching home, I popped the DVD into the player and enjoyed watching Westlife performing in Dublin.  My Mom was watching too and she was just as giddy as I am! Hahahaha!  It’s been such a long time since I last saw Westlife perform live and they haven’t been back to Manila, so I guess purchasing this DVD was the next best thing!

Westlife announced that they’re having a year long break (which started after the concert in Dublin) from their careers to recharge their batteries, and word has it that they’ll be back around June or July of 2009.  Hopefully they are going to release a new album next year! Can’t wait!!!!

Again, thanks to my brother Mons for buying this DVD for me! I just can’t get enough of Westlife. :)
